Bread Machine Challah, Honey I (P)
Yield: 1 loaf or 3 to 4 rolls
1 cup warm water
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp. sugar
3-1/4 cups bread flour
2 tsp. or 1 envelope yeast
Egg wash (optional)

Liquids and salt usually go in first, followed by the dry ingredients, excluding yeast. A small well is made into the dry ingredients and the yeast is poured into that well.

Run dough cycle, remove, shape, spray with non-stick cooking spray or egg wash if you prefer, and bake at 350°F for 20 to 30 minutes depending on preferred doneness.

Poster's Notes:
These are the instructions from my breadmaker. I'd check your instructions to see how it wants the yeast treated.

You can leave out the sugar if you don't like too sweet.

I find sometimes that the dough requires a little more flour than other days. I think it might be weather-related but I haven't really documented it, so I'd "peek" after a 30 minutes and see if it needs more flour.
